Starting in preschool, PVSD students participate in learning activities that develop their 21st century skills, including critical and creative thinking, collaboration, and communication that serve as the foundation for the rest of their lives. At-home & Independent Study Options
Our Digital Learning Academy (DLA) provides a flexible and engaging instructional program based on a blended learning model. Using Board-adopted curriculum, our teachers provide instruction through a mix of in-person and supplemental learning assignments. The DLA provides the flexibility for students to connect from home, while providing the option to engage in scheduled hands-on learning experiences and extracurricular activities on campus.

Peak Prep Pleasant Valley is an accredited, tuition-free TK-12 public online school in California that uses innovative technology to help students thrive in their schoolwork and life. At Peak Prep, we empower students to be their best by enabling them to learn in ways that are right for them—at home, at their proper level, and at their own pace. We serve TK-12 students residing in Kern, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties.
